French's bay

A strip of clear sand that is every day, incessantly, inexorably, wet by waves made of white foam generated by the transparent blue water.

Rocks on the clear ground, like moles of beauty, stain the multitude of grains and then enter the sea, to colour the water by various shades of blue.

The French's bay is a splendid sea point, which can be accessed from a slipway along the Mongerbino route, near Palermo.

It is a very small rocky beach, reachable along a steep descent that start to donate panorama glimpses at every step of the wayfarer, which is eager to discover its magical facets.

Its beauty and simplicity make it a very popular beach during the summer days and that walk towards the blue turns into a coveted reward for those who reach the end, erasing any worries.

The bay takes its name from the tourists who frequented it in the past, mostly French, who went there to practice nudist bathing without too much difficulty, given the strategic position of the point.

To date this activity is no longer practiced, but this wonderful inlet continues to conquer for its crystal water and is in fact one of the most popular sea spots in that area.

The bay is like a natural swimming pool that sparkles in the sun and, in its shimmer, leaves your eyes brimful and your skin warm. A restorative feeling that only the Sicilian sea can give you.
